Remember The Days

Remember the days when the soldiers had fought,
A lot of young people they seemed to have taught.
They taught us that we deserve to be free,
They fought for people like you and people like me.
They went to war and risked their lives,

And left their daughters, their sons, their wives.
They taught us all about like and love,
Those soldiers are now the bright stars above.
Remember the days when the soldiers had fought,
Me I know...they surely have taught.
